Before you meet

• Keep chats in the app. Get to know the other duo through Twoman before moving to other platforms. You can always block and report inside the app.
• Protect your personal info. Do not share your home address, workplace, financial details, or anything that could be used to locate or pressure you.
• Watch for red flags. Be cautious of anyone who asks for money, pushes to move off Twoman immediately, refuses to video or voice chat, or tries to isolate you from your friend.
• Do your own check. A quick search of a name or photo can add peace of mind.

Planning the date

• Meet in public, together. Choose a busy public place for the first meet, and go as a duo. The four-person format is your built-in safety net, so use it.
• Tell someone else. Even though your friend is with you, let another person know where you will be and when you expect to be home.
• Arrange your own transport. Get yourself to and from the date so you stay in control of when you leave.
• Stay sober enough to stay safe. Keep a clear head, and never leave your drink unattended.

During the date

• Trust your gut. If something feels off, it is okay to leave. You do not owe anyone your time.
• Look out for each other. Agree with your friend on a signal for "I want to go," and honour it without question.
• Keep your phone and essentials on you. Do not leave belongings with someone you just met.

If something goes wrong

• Block and report in the app. Long-press a profile or open a chat to block and report a specific person. Blocking is immediate and ends any shared match.
• Reach our safety team. Use the Safety or reporting topic in our monitored support form.
• In an emergency, contact local authorities first. If you are in immediate danger, call your local emergency number.

Consent, always

Consent matters online and in person. On Twoman, any photo that shows your friend needs their approval, and either of you can remove it. In person, respect boundaries at every step, and expect the same in return.
