Delete your account
You are always in control of your data. Here is how to delete your Twoman account and what happens next.
Delete from inside the app
The fastest way to delete your account is in the app:
- Open Twoman and go to the Profile tab.
- Tap the gear to open the main menu.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm. Because deletion is permanent, we ask you to confirm the step that ends your duos and matches.
Request deletion without the app
If you cannot access the app, use our monitored support form, select Delete my account, and enter the email address used for your account. We may ask one or two questions to verify it is really you before we proceed.
Deletion is permanent. Once your account is deleted it cannot be recovered, and you will need to sign up again to use Twoman.
What gets deleted
When you delete your account, we remove or de-identify:
- your profile, photos, prompts, and vitals;
- your personal account details, including your username and email;
- your likes, matches, and the messages you sent;
- your membership in any duos. Leaving dissolves each duo you are part of and ends its matches, while your friends keep their own accounts.
Your account is locked when the request is accepted and deletion then runs as a resumable background process. Most first-party records are removed promptly. Stripe identity redaction can take up to four days after submission; if a vendor request fails, its restricted cleanup record stays queued for retry or manual review rather than being forgotten. Backups cycle out on their normal rolling schedule.
What we may keep, and why
When someone submits a safety report, we may retain a restricted, pseudonymous report record and limited evidence needed to investigate the report, protect members, or meet legal obligations. That evidence may include the exact profile voice answer, personal video and poster selected in the report, or content from a shared conversation. Shared-conversation evidence associated with either participant may remain restricted if either later deletes their account, including the person who submitted the report; selected profile evidence may likewise remain held after its owner deletes. We may also retain pseudonymous purchase, refund, commission, tax, accounting, redaction-tombstone, and deletion-audit records for fraud prevention, reconciliation, or periods required by law. Cancel your subscription first
Deleting your Twoman account does not cancel a Twoman+ subscription, because billing is handled by Apple. To stop future charges, open the Settings app on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions, choose Twoman, and cancel. See our subscription terms.
